Thank you for purchasing our digital products and services at Amit Patel's professional portfolio. We strive to ensure that our customers and clients receive the highest quality of service and software development. However, we understand that there may be circumstances where a refund or cancellation is necessary. This comprehensive Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are issued for our various digital services, SaaS products, and custom freelance development contracts. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase.
1. Custom Software and App Development Services
For custom web development, mobile app development, flutter development, and SEO services, our refund policy is strictly governed by the specific contract or Service Level Agreement (SLA) signed before the commencement of the project. Generally, our custom services involve a significant investment of time, resources, and intellectual capital. Therefore, upfront deposits and milestone payments for custom work are typically non-refundable once the actual development or consulting work has begun.
If a client chooses to terminate a project prematurely, they will be billed for the hours worked and the resources utilized up to the point of termination. If the upfront deposit exceeds the value of the work completed, a partial refund may be issued at our sole discretion. Any custom code, designs, or strategies delivered up to that point remain our intellectual property until full payment is received for the completed portion.
2. Digital Products, Tools, and SaaS Subscriptions
For our standalone digital products, downloadable tools, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscriptions (such as Tool Master, Material Calculator, Metal Weight Calculator, etc.), we offer a standard 14-day money-back guarantee under specific conditions. We want you to be completely satisfied with your digital purchase.
You may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase if you meet the following criteria: (a) The digital product fails to function as advertised on our website or promotional materials; (b) You have contacted our support team and allowed us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the technical issue, and we are unable to fix it; (c) The product was not heavily utilized or exploited during the 14-day period.
Refunds will not be granted for digital products if you simply change your mind, if you lack the necessary technical expertise to use the software (provided the requirements were clearly stated), or if the product does not meet a specific need that was not advertised. Once a refund is issued for a downloadable digital product, your license to use the software is immediately revoked, and you must delete all copies of the product from your devices.
3. SEO and Digital Marketing Consulting
Our SEO and digital marketing services are strategic in nature and require ongoing effort and adaptation to search engine algorithms. Due to the unpredictable nature of search engines and digital marketing platforms, we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic numbers, or exact financial outcomes.
As such, payments made for SEO consulting, audits, keyword research, and ongoing monthly retainer services are completely non-refundable. If you are dissatisfied with our marketing services, you may cancel your monthly retainer with a 30-day written notice, but no retroactive refunds will be provided for services already rendered and reports already delivered.
4. Subscription Renewals and Cancellations
If you are subscribed to one of our SaaS platforms or ongoing maintenance plans, you are responsible for managing your subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel them prior to the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting our support team.
If you forget to cancel your subscription and an automatic renewal charge occurs, we do not typically offer refunds for the renewed term. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term, and you will continue to have access to the service until that time.
5. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, you must contact our support team in writing via the contact form on our website or by emailing us directly. Your refund request must include your full name, order number, the email address associated with the purchase, and a detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund (including any relevant error messages or screenshots if you are experiencing technical difficulties).
6. Refund Processing Time
Once we receive your refund request, our team will review it within 5 to 7 business days. We may reach out to you for additional information or clarification. If your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed and credited back to your original method of payment within an additional 7 to 14 business days, depending on your bank or credit card issuer's policies.
We reserve the right to decline any refund request that does not meet the criteria outlined in this policy or if we suspect abuse of our refund policy. We also reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page and will apply to all purchases made after the date of the modification.
